Painless Poetry

T.I.C. AQUA WORDS GROUP PAINLESS POETRY                    December, 2013

The group brainstorms words about water, then 4-5 people each write a phrase on the subject and combine them into one poem.

These poems are from the teacher workshop held in December at the Bay Model.

Water flows through muddy and clear habitats

Sparkling waves of life

Drinking a wet wave

Bubbling, clear, cool water.

Water deep and blue; it’s so vital for us, it’s true

Refreshing splashes of liquid moonstone.

I am you, you are me…vital for survival, flowing free

Fluid, clear, splash!

Clear, refreshing, habitat

Cool, clear, clean

Deep blue aquamarine

Cold ripple surf crashes.

Wild, wet water washing

Healthy currents flow

Water rippling over rocks and pebbles

Current moves so swiftly.

It feels cold; it’s wet; oh, it’s frozen!

Flowing, floating, diving through the waves

Powerfully, giving life or taking it away

Cleanses my soul.
