The Bay Area Environmental Education Resource Fair

Saturday, January 19, 2013  *  10:00-4:30  *  Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall

Discover the latest in classroom materials, environmental education programs, and field trip sites. Join in the fun and attend workshops introducing conservation and wildlife education, school gardens, and strategies for fostering environmental awareness!

The event is specially designed for teachers, community educators, students, families, and all concerned about the environment we share. The BAEER Fair is the premier environmental education event in the bay area. It is designed to help teachers help students learn about the planet we live on.

All TIC Teachers are welcome to join us for a “Chocolate, BAEERS, and Coffee Social” at our exhibit at the BAEER Fair (even if you do not attend the Growing up WILD session).  Coffee and chocolate are served at 3:00.

Flyfishers will also be there from 10-4:00 to teach teachers of all grades how to tie flies.  You can then share and replicate this activity in your classroom.

Admission to the fair, which includes one-hour, hands-on workshops all day and 75 environmental and science education exhibitors, is still an amazing $12.

Admission to the BAEER Fair is included if you sign up for either of the two special events Trout-in-the-Classroom is sponsoring that day:

  • Growing Up WILD ($25 targeting teachers pre-k through 3rd grade)
  • Chocolate, BAEERS, and Coffee ($15 for all TIC teachers)
